May We Be of Support?

Sometimes coming together with others who share your interests and concerns can give you the extra confidence  you need to cope more successfully. At Reston Hospital Center, we offer a number of support groups that will give you more information, an opportunity to meet new friends or help you manage your health more successfully.

Cancer Support Group:  This group is available to patients and families, ranging from newly diagnosed to long-term cancer survivors. Benefit from discussions on traditional treatments, networking, and learning about resources. Experts speak monthly on a variety of topics, including alternative therapies and nutrition. New members are always welcome. The Cancer Support Group meets the first  Tuesday of each month 6:30 to 7:30 pm in West Wing Conference Room B, 1850 Town Center Drive, on the Reston Hospital Center campus. Diabetes Support Group: This group is designed to meet the needs of people living with diabetes. For program details, call (703) 689-9100.
